Inventory control
Inventory control without manual counts
The problem isn't not having stock. It's not knowing how much you have until a customer asks and it's already gone.
- Stock is deducted automatically with every sale
- Separate stock per location and per variant
- Alerts before a product runs out

What inventory control includes
Real-time stock
Every sale, return and transfer moves the inventory immediately.
Variants with their own stock
Size, colour and format, each combination with its own count.
Adjustments and counts
Record shrinkage, adjustments and physical counts with reason and owner.
What moves and what doesn't
Spot the product that isn't shifting before you reorder it.

Why FlowPOS rather than a notebook or a generic app
| Criterion | FlowPOS | Notebook | Generic app |
|---|---|---|---|
| FEL electronic invoicing | Included, issued through SAT-authorised certifiers | Issues no electronic document at all | Usually needs a separate system bolted on |
| Sending the receipt over WhatsApp | The customer gets their invoice on WhatsApp as the sale closes | Hands over a slip of paper written by hand | Typically prints or emails only |
| Inventory kept current | Deducted automatically with every sale, per location | Requires counting by hand to know what is left | Depends on the plan; often charged separately |
| Several tills in one location | Multiple simultaneous tills, each with its own close | One notebook per till, balanced by hand | Frequently limited to one till per location |
| Multiple locations | All in a single account, with consolidated reporting | One notebook per location, nothing consolidated | Usually one subscription charged per location |
| Billing in quetzales | Priced and billed in GTQ by a Guatemalan company | Not applicable | Many charge in dollars and invoice from abroad |
| Support in your hours | Over WhatsApp, during Guatemalan business hours | Not applicable | Email or chat, often in another time zone |
