Pilot build — not signed yet
It talks to the production API: anything you sell on it is real and stays in your business, exactly as on the final release. The only difference is that it is not code-signed yet, so Windows will show “Windows protected your PC” when you open the installer — choose More info → Run anyway. It is the same app we will publish signed.
FlowPOS for your computer
Run your till on a Windows or Mac computer, and keep printing for your kitchen and counter even when the till window is closed.
Windows
Windows 10 or later
FlowPOS_0.0.1_x64-setup.exe- Download the installer and double-click it.
- Follow the installer. You do not need an administrator — FlowPOS installs for your own account.
- Open FlowPOS from the Start menu.
macOS
macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later

- Download the disk image and open it.
- Drag FlowPOS into your Applications folder.
- Open FlowPOS from Applications.
You will see a Windows warning when you install
This pilot build is not code-signed yet, so Windows will show “Windows protected your PC” when you open the installer. That is expected: click More info, then Run anyway. The signing certificate is in progress, and once it is issued this warning goes away with nothing for you to do.
That is the only warning you should see, and only on the installer. If you see anything else — a prompt for an administrator password, a different file name, or a warning when opening FlowPOS after it is installed — stop and tell us. Always download from this page: we never send the installer by email, WhatsApp, or third-party links.
Two things worth doing on the computer
FlowPOS keeps you signed in so the till is ready when you open it. On a computer, what protects that is the computer itself.
- Set a password on the computer's user account. A shared till with no password means anyone who sits down at it is already signed in to your business.
- Turn on disk encryption — BitLocker on Windows, FileVault on macOS. Without it, someone who takes the machine can read its files elsewhere without signing in.
Neither is required, and FlowPOS works either way. You will find this reminder again in the FlowPOS status window.
